LOCKON FC FPS Benchmark Test Track

A test track was used to test FPS performance -

 

BENCHMARK TEST web page

FRAPS 2.5 was used to benchmark this 120 second track that shows an A-10 diving thru clouds(set to 10 with thunderstorms) to bomb a building.

Thanks! I had to watch that A-10 bomb run so many times ...

 

One conclusion: Lock On FC is FPS optimized, Advanced Haze is not such an FPS killer in FC and what can be done, is to try to improve the medium settings so that they can approach higher settings with a better FPS average.

 

I already posted a better FPS tweak for 1.1 - with a smoother FPS curve.

 

Does anyone know how to get the FPS/sec data without FRAPS ?

That one is OK - what I would need is for that counter to be logged, like FRAPS does, second by second so you can create a chart.

ah. nope i dont know, i thought you just meant to bring up the fps view, sorry
