Chozolore Posted March 4, 2012 Posted March 4, 2012 Forgive me, I'm new to this flight sim businesss, I've downloaded an x52 pro profile, so what do I do with it? I've searched but it's not immediately clear what I should do to have the profile activated in A-10C Please help, thanks
Jona33 Posted March 4, 2012 Posted March 4, 2012 Go into the options menu and select the A-10C sim then Load Profile button. Find wherever you downloaded the file to then select it. Always remember. I don't have a clue what I'm doing
cichlidfan Posted March 4, 2012 Posted March 4, 2012 Actually it depends on what the profile is. Is it a lua file for DCS A-10, for use with an X-52, or is it a .pro (I think) for Saitek's SST software (for programming an X-52)? Chozolore Posted March 4, 2012 Author Posted March 4, 2012 Aha, this is where I'm confused, I have .pro file. What do I do with that?
cichlidfan Posted March 4, 2012 Posted March 4, 2012 Aha, this is where I'm confused, I have .pro file. What do I do with that? You need the SST software that should have come with the stick. You can download it from Saitek's website. When you run the SST software you can load a file (the .pro). You would do this before starting A-10. The SST software has an icon in your system tray when the stick is plugged in. You use that icon to load profiles. If memory serves, the SST software stores its profiles in your My Documents folder. This is where you would put the one you DLed. Make sure you download the SST manual as well, I think it is a separate DL. Hope this helps get you started.
