Excel_Soldier Posted March 6, 2012 Posted March 6, 2012 Having problems assigning some Hot Buttons on my joystick for different commands in the DCS A-10 Simulator. For instance, I go to change the Trim Down command. The game sees my joystick (It works in the game). When I select the column that has the joystick settings, I press the hot button on my joystick for the command I want, in this case, Trim Down. When I select the hot button it takes me up to another command that has already been assigned for the Hit Button. I try to delete that command I don't want and then redo it from the Trim Down and it keeps disallowing me from doing it. Totally lost. Played around with it for a while and can't seem to rectify the problem. If any one could help with this I would appreciate it. Thanks in advance. Excel_Soldier
Nate--IRL-- Posted March 6, 2012 Posted March 6, 2012 Try going to the trim down command, then go to the joystick column and double click the entry box to change it - another box should pop up to allow you to enter the button or hat you want. Note, if you do a search for that particular joystick name on the forum you may find a good profile for it.
