BS2 reinstall

I know this has been asked before but cant find the answer. I doing a fresh install of BS2. Should I let Windows 7 install. C:/ program files/ Eagle Dynamics/DSC Black Shark 2. Or should I put it in as C: Eagle Dynamics/DSC Black Shark 2. I thought i read that BS ran better just under C: . :noexpression:

It has nothing to do with running better. It has to do with Windows UAC (User Access Control). If you put it in the default directory then Windows controls it unless you disable UAC. If you put it somewhere else then Windows does not consider it special and applies no special protections for the files. This is handy when you want to edit game files for one.

mine is in "<drive>:\games\simulation\DCS Black Shark 2"

 

i find that putting my games into "\Games\Category\<game>" makes things easier to find
