flier-UA Posted March 18, 2012 Posted March 18, 2012 Hi, just wanted to see if anyone else is experiencing the same issue with trim (DCS A-10). When I start the flight without engaging/touching the trim hat everything seems to be working fine, the plane flies straight and level. When I first engage trim (either up or down) the plane right away falls on the right wing and I have to compensate with left trim. It happens with different load-outs. Any suggestions?
PoleCat Posted March 18, 2012 Posted March 18, 2012 (edited) As far as I remember trim is assigned to HAT1 with ctrl held. Since I dont need the views I re-assigned to straight HAT1 without the modifier. I remember a similar issue for me in which some how the right rudder was being involved. Can't remember the specifics or what I did to fix it but I suggest you look through the controller assignments and see if anything is amiss with rudder axis.
