Maybe the Nevada map qill be prefect, but the Georgia must be recreate totally...

Nothing are correct except basic relief, city, airport and river location.

Texture color must be totally change, look "Caucasus" or "Georgia" on google picture or in youtube, the color are totally false for dust/sand, earth, grass, rock and other details.

Sadly the simulation represent always a dead world and its not nice the our eyes, we dont have any little flower on the ground, never any color, always the same color everywhere, not DCS only, but in every simulator, exept maybe photorealistic like Aerofly FS or like payware scenery in Flight Simulator, (i know photorealism are not realist for a lot of reasons like athmospheric condition when the picture are taken and other things...Buts its still better than actual texture, 10000 more beautiful AND realist cause actually no one color present on the map are present in a real landscape, and anyways we can correct this difference)

Look the picture here :

Seriously, imagine how that can be 1000 better if we can have the same color in DCS with details like flower (not in 3D ok but please make a compensation and integrate it on texture) flower its a single example, but every vegetation miss, if only flower miss ok its not a problem, but when everything in a full category miss, its not the same...

Same for rock, look the beautiful effect that rock and grass mix together give to our eyes, imagine how that can be nice AND realistic !!! to see it in the Georgia map !

The actual airport are not exact, the position and the map are perfectly reproduce but the style are totally different, actual look more like nice US base without any usury like if the airbase are new, compare with google earth, its not a big problem, but airport represent an important part of an air simulator and that make a big contrast, the city are so many basic, look at google picture and you will see how city in real life are rich, various and beautiful, the city itself look like a old and low cost suburb...That need more different building, monument, house, various details on road.

Look in this picture how city are rich, beautiful and totally different than what we have in DCS :

Look this website : http://www.rankopedia.com/Favorite-City-in-Caucasus/Step1/17083/.htm do right click on the miniature and open image

And less contrast between city who look more old and poor than real and airport who look more unused than real...

Simulation its a sad world without color and where the nature don't exist (its why i always compare with Arma where the nature are perfectly identical than real) and where city are dead like post apocalyptic and where we don't have any color, light or monuments, everything are the same, just copy and past...

Please ED give us a more living simulator with more realistic color, more nature and more rich ground texture and more realistic airport and city...

Demongornot, we've been through all of this several times already, and you never listen.

If you don't like the colors, replace the textures. You don't even need to know how to program anything to do this, nor do you need an SDK. You have everything that is required already installed. (And if you don't have Photoshop and don't want to purchase it, you can use GIMP.)

The airports look fine to me. Compared Batumi in-sim with the real one, looks good, and the style of most of them is pretty much correct. But you need to remember that there's no exactly fixed time period here, so some will have performed changes since when this map was sourced. Kupitnari has discontinued one of the ramps, for example. No big deal. But again, if you want to have these complaints taken seriously, just do something yourself. Shouting "imagine" doesn't work, what works is "look here at what I did, don't you agree it's better?" Several people have already done this.

Yeah but its a long work and its not supposed to be me who have to do it but ok i can try, i have already see several texture files but i need a basic tuto (wish files it is, cause i will make long time to find it one by one) and with my free time i will do it...I have PS, i have already create a skin for the A10C.

And for the airport i want mean with several picture and google earth view the real look older than what we have in DCS but yes its true DCS don't simulate a precise period of time and that can finally be the airport when theirs was created...

Just please told me what is exactly the texture files for high altitude and low altitude and i will do it myself and hope that ED Team can (if that become a popular mods) integrated in officially into DCS.

:/ I did not mean for this thread to become another yelling match... I was just curious if it was at all possible to update the airports running lights. Kutaisi for instance just has balls of light compared to Batumi. If there is a link to a mod that will fix this for a-10 and bs2, i'm fine with that. Is there a way this can be done with the tools we have now? or is this something we need to wait on for an SDK?
