Ground Crew

Can someone tell me if I'm contacting the ground crew correctly please.

 

I flew the Sitting Ducks mission then landed at Senaki Tskhakaya military airbase

 

Taxed to a bay

Weapons safe

Set top VHF radio to 13 2 .0 00 (already set as I asked and got permission to land)

Set the BIG radio dial to INT

Mic switch forward, 1 Main (interphone) comes up

8 Ground crew

2 Rearm

1 Default

 

It says request rearming

 

Then nothing but silence, is there a ground crew there? Or am I doing something wrong?

No ground crew. There needs to be a vehicle or personell in the airbase to "function" as ground crew, otherwise you just get scary silence

Well imagine it like this : you can't just land on any random airport and expect to have ground crew with equipment and supplies to maintain your A10 there. In my missions I always create few blue airports, few red airports and I leave the rest neutral/civilian. Also it should be specified in briefing which airports you can use to rearm / refuel.

Or just paint NO GAS on a hanger roof so I could see it when flying over .. :smilewink:
