AI Ka-50s Don't Respond To Attack Group

I have 4 Red Ka-50s in an orbit close to a base that has a Blue vehicle group in it.

 

When Red vehicles enter a zone I created at the base the Ka-50s should respond to an Attack Group command and go after the Blue vehicles, but the Ka-50s continue their orbit.

 

Is there a known issue with Ka-50 responses to triggers?

We'd probably need an example mission, since it's hard to describe everything that might be relevant.

 

The 'attack group' command is a triggered task? Have you verified the trigger is firing? Can the Ka-50's detect the blue vehicles? You might want to try putting yourself in an aircraft that has LoS and radio set to the same frequency as the AI flight so you can hear them call out contacts in order to verify they're aware of them.

 

Maybe there's also a conflict between the orbit and attack group command? Maybe for a test have the orbit command be halted before you fire the attack group?

I noticed that same issue when I had a column red tank and a few manpads on the red side - russian. I made the KA50 blue - American they were armed but the AI did not attack, the 5 KA50 just dropped flares then eventually got shot down

I had what may have been two opposing options -

ROE = Return Fire

Reaction To Threat = Evade Fire

 

I removed the Evade Fire.
