congofx Posted March 31, 2012 Posted March 31, 2012 Hello there, I'm a new player. I love the Black Shark (mostly), I've only got the steam version at the moment but I'm considering upgrading to BS2. But, I have some issues with the program. Only one infact but it's a biggie for me. I'm a pcgamer not a sim fan and game mode is about right for me. I'm only a casual player. However, I've played a lot of EECH before and I've got it installed now and am playing it again due to the problem I have with BS. Real Mode is great but it's too hardcore for me. The real flight mode is very detailed and tremendously rewarding to fly but it's a bit beyond my level of dedication. Game Mode feels just right apart from the altitude hold which really ruins the fun for me. I'm OK with the dampened down flight engine but the alt hold really seems to be a step too noob. The decision to put Alt Hold in the game mode and not give an option to deselect it is game ruining for me. I have 2 friends who also loved EECH years ago, but I feel I can't recommend the game to them with this problem in place. anyone know of an ini or lua file that can be edited to leave game mode as it is but also turn Alt Hold off, so the basic flight mechanics are still dumbed down but basically correct? cheers :)
