Zolitnitsky Posted April 4, 2012 Posted April 4, 2012 Em, I'm no expert at this but would it be to bold to ask for the fire-and-forget Spike missile to the Black Shark game (in a coming update perhaps?). I know it's an Israeli built missile but it was ""offered" as an option... ...In January 1998, a partnership arrangement was announced between Israeli Aerospace Intustries and Kamov to market the Kamov Ka-50-2 attack helicopter in Turkish competition. One of the optional armaments being offered for the Ka-50-2 was the Spike-ER missile... http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Spike_%28missile%29#cite_note-teal-19 Well, providing '98 not being "too late" for the game time period that is. Anyway, just wondering..:joystick:
213 Posted April 4, 2012 Posted April 4, 2012 the ka-50-2 isn't the same helicopter. it's an ugly turkish version called erodogan that got dropped for the ah-1
Zolitnitsky Posted April 4, 2012 Author Posted April 4, 2012 (edited) the ka-50-2 isn't the same helicopter. it's an ugly turkish version called erodogan that got dropped for the ah-1 Well, actually the Ah-1 got dropped too for the Augusta A129 (2007). (The Turkish army still somewhat open for additional purchases). And it's not THAT butt-ugly - or different! http://www.aviastar.org/helicopters_eng/ka-50-2.php But still, the Spike is a fire-and-forget missile :P! And the Shark surly could use ONE system that facilitates workload rather than the opposite as seems to be the unfortunate case with the Samsheet-50 (!?). (Can't find much on that system either googling it!, being perhaps of topic) Edited April 4, 2012 by Zolitnitsky
