Dachs Posted April 6, 2012 Posted April 6, 2012 When I assign a mouse button in TIR to activate pause, the Warthog throttle radio button also activates TIR pause. It turns out that DX4 corresponds to Mousebutton 4, same for the rest of the mouse buttons.. Has anyone else observed this or is it some fluke with my rig perhaps? System: Asus z270 A Prime, Intel i7-7700K 4.8GHz, 32GB DDR4, RTX2080, Samsung 500GB 850 EVO SSD. Valve Index VR, TM Warthog Throttle & Grip, Virpil MongoosT-50CM2 base, TM TPDR Rudders. OS: Win10 Home
SparkyOV Posted April 9, 2012 Posted April 9, 2012 It's not a fluke. TIR software does not differentiate between devices. I made a post on the Natural Point forums but got no reply. I use the default DX mode of the Warthog (i.e. no TARGET profile). Quoting my own post on their forum: The "pause" is mapped to DirectX button 3 on the throttle (mic switch up). "Center" is mapped to DirectX button 4 on the stick (pinky paddle switch). However, when I press button 3 (NWS) on the *stick*, TIR also pauses. Likewise, when I press button 4 (mic switch forward) on the *throttle*, TIR also centers.
