Saving activations keys upon OS crash

Allright,

 

I just had to reformat my C:\ and reinstall OS. Dunno what exactly happened with it but I had no access to any of the programs or files installed or stored on my HDDs. I reinstalled with same OS version I had before.

 

So, since FC2 installation folder isn't on system drive of C:\ and is still available to me with all included mods and edits I wonder is there any chance to reinstall FC2 using the same activation key as the last time?

 

Reason I ask is that I'm on my last key of a boxed FC2.

There's Lock On\Register folder, are there any files that contain activation key data?

Activation data is in the registry of the operating system IIRC. If you flushed it, they are most likely gone.

 

You can get a new key through the ticket system once you're out of activations.
