Black screen, game crashing

Hi,

 

I've recently downloaded the files for Ka-50 Black Shark and installed it (version 1.1.1.1).

During installation the update for C++ was installed, directx11 was installed (windows 7) and i updated my video card.

 

The game starts up fine and takes me to the main menu. When i select Instant Mission the game looks as if it closes, goes back to the desktop, and after about 20 seconds the Ka-50 Black Shark loading screen with the plan in the center opens up and begins loading the game.

 

After it loads, a black screen appears and stays that way. I've experienced two things at this point:

 

1. The game will just completely crash by going back to the desktop, closing the game, a windows error message pops up asking if i want to send the information to Windows and then the game attempts to restart itself. This loop just continues never reaching the actual game/mission.

 

2. Or the black screen will stay, and by pressing keys on the keyboard i can hear the game playing in the back but i can't see anything.

 

I thought maybe it was a graphics card problem, but i play many other games and have no issues.

 

Does anyone have any idea what my problem could be here?

 

Here are the computer specs:

 

Intel Core2 6600 2.4Ghz

4GB RAM (3.25GB usable because its 32bit)

Win7 Home Premium 32bit

GeForce GTS 250 1GB
