my first adventure in this crazy cockpit building land!

My original plan was to build an AB cockpit but after looking at the measurements I was afraid I wouldn't fit comfortably in it..I'm 6'4" 225lbs. So I decided to use my noodle and come up with something on my own.

 

I have to have a center mount stick so my build had to allow that.

 

I still need to convince my wife to cover the seat cushions for me and I am going to paint the whole thing the same color as the chair.

good start. go on building, it will be a lot of fun and a lot frustration....sometimes. but the first flight in your cockpit build with your own hands will be unforgetable!
