How long have you guys been working on the P-51 since the 1st idea to do it?

 

 

Or does one guy create this stuff for himself as a hobbyist and then say, I bet I can find other guys that would like this, and maybe make a buck at it, too.

There is always a start to something..whether it be intentional or not..

By the way, before beta was released I have many hours of constant consultation with our boss, Nick Grey, who has hundreds hours in P-51 and he spent a lot of hours flying DCS P-51 to check the model accuracy.

 

BTW: there was a P-51model floating around in Lockon/DCS several yaers ago.

and ther are tons of hints and info regrading the time spent for developing in the Russian forum - but also unfortunately spread in many postings.

 

A good start for more info is to open a good online-translator and look out of older posts from Yo-Yo about the P-51D.
