hi again, when using CCRP i sometimes get "autolaze fail" in a lovely yellow box, doesnt happen all the time but most of time but the bomb still hits the target?

also when using CCIP i get "fusion error" come up on HUD?

no doubt these are stupid mistakes i am making but i cant find anything about what causes this and am following the tutorials down to the T.

lastly that loud annoying beep when i seem to go below a speed of 150 is there any way to lower this as its defining

thanks again and i have looked on here and utube and apps on ipad but cant find my answers am still a newb think im on my 2nd week or warthog lol:thumbup:

Which weapon are you attempting to drop, and what is your procedure? (Specifically, is it profile selected or just station selected?)

Both those errors are caused by things you're doing wrong. Auto LASE fail is normally caused by you dropping an LGB outside of the parameters set in the DSMS profile meaning it isn't possible for the system to activate the LASER automatically.

Fusing (not fusion ;)) Invalid is down to you trying to drop in a situation not suitable for the fusing parameters set for the weapon you're trying to employ. The most common of which is trying to drop a CBU when below the set HOF altitude.

But as EtherealN said, more specific details and/or track needed for us to tell exactly where you're going wrong.

Why on earth are you going below 150 KIAS? The only time you should be that slow is during take off and landing.

hi, random failures is not on i am still playing on game mode but slowly switching things off to convert to sim in good time.

when selecting CCRP:

i select gbu12 or 10 i think it was (at work not on pc at mo) for example on profile section, change to CCRP, click change settings, then click auto lase on, then laser time 15 seconds and fly around 12.000ft. this is how i see it done on a tutorial and it works most of the time.

for CCIP i am using what ever CCIP bombs i have, sorry i am still getting use to all this but thats all i can say. i fly about 2000ft then when on last mile of target i dive and try to release and get nothing but errors and about something crashing? GAS CRASH i think it says.

what would be good is a payload layout for me thats a good all rounder for air to air and CCRP but causing maximum carnage, as i just dont feel to confident with the CCIP way yet to be honest, and i am maybe doing something wrong with CCRP mode.

thanks again guys

I bet he's not setting the SPI ... not to mention releasing waaaaaaaay too low.

The GCAS collision avoidance is telling you you're flying that thing wrong. Specifically, too low ;)

I've always found CCIP easier. How to make a track so we can look.

Fly a mission where you have these problems.

Exit and in the debriefing screen click Save track.

Come here and click go advanced on your post.

Use the paperclip icon to attach the track to your post.

Always remember. I don't have a clue what I'm doing

This is because frag damage is not modeled properly. Safe altitude for the 82AIR is probably above 1500'.

what 150! thats fine if you use the MK82AIR! I had to do it once to avoid AA fire! and I did not die from the blast!

Yes you do. There's a lot of stuff between 'stick neutral' and 'stick deflected all the way back'. Practice flying ... not bombing. You're not at the bombing stage yet. ;)

As a small primer:

climbing is not achieved through pointing nose up as much as you can. Climbing is achieved through getting nose up at whatever degree allows you to maintain 180 knots indicated (if your objective is to climb as quickly as possible). Stick straight back and nost up will just cause you to bleed all your energy and start stalling - which is the loud tone you're hearing. The aircraft is telling you that you are about to lose control of the aircraft and need to sort this out immediately. It's meant to be deafening since ignoring it can be a lethal mistake. ;)

Basically, like GG said, it does seem like you might want to familiarize yourself a bit with the basics of flying. (Not meant to be insulting, just that you'll save a LOT of time through focusing on that first instead of being frustrated while trying to learn combat employment.)

yes i think your right and i dont take it as a insult it was feedback i was after  i will continue but with less of the combat side and more of getting the feel of controlling it, the game is just so good you just want to experience all the amazing things its capable off and what with it being the new toy i guess i am just rushing it :pilotfly:

Everyone rushes it, and it isn't like the average person buying flight sims should be expected to understand flight in any way, shape or form - I suggest you find the A-10C documentation links on the forum, and look into the A-10A pilot manual.

There you will find some graphs that describe the A-10A's sustained maneuvering capability at different speeds and altitudes. The A-10C flies pretty much the same.
