TrackIR 5 Slowed Down Frame Rates: Fixed It

Concerning DCS: P-51D, the 2nd Beta:

 

I set up my TIR5 last night and actually was running at 1 frame rate and no more than 10. It was impossible to use.

 

I was reading the forum here somewhere this morning and the guy said all he could find to find a fair solution was "Set Priority" to "High" in Task Manager's Processes. Also put the check-mark in the "Show processes from all users" to get Administrator's privileges to set it.

 

That fixed it.

 

I did notice my curvature in pitch and roll is now too sluggish and has to be set less.

 

I have TIR5 set to auto update.

Another thing that can do this is leaving the "Preview Windows" open when you start a game. The Virtual Head and Camera Tracking view.
