mjmorrow Posted May 10, 2012 Posted May 10, 2012 I noticed that on multiplayer, once I climb out to about 15, 000 feet, my Mustang will make a knocking noise and the manifold pressure dial and the RPM dial will jump up and down, so I cannot climb out to altitudes above 15, 500 feet or so. I tested climbing out off line, in single player and there is no such issue. The turbo charger is in auto, btw. Is this a bug or a server side feature; a artificial restriction on the ability of a plane to climb out, for instance? :pilotfly:MJ [sIGPIC]http://i688.photobucket.com/albums/vv250/mjmorrow76/SPAD%20of%20a%20new%20generation_zpshcbftpce.png[/sIGPIC]
sobek Posted May 11, 2012 Posted May 11, 2012 Are you sure that your mixture is set to auto? What are your MP and RPM settings? Good, fast, cheap. Choose any two. Come let's eat grandpa! Use punctuation, save lives!
Panzertard Posted May 11, 2012 Posted May 11, 2012 Had no such issues while being online myself. Try finding a aircraft spawning in the air, and test again. Then test using the cheat 'auto-startup' RWin+Home, and again. Then you can test your manual startup procedure if you have one. Next time, please provide a short track to provide correct information, then we might be able to reproduce or spot any problems. The mind is like a parachute. mjmorrow Posted May 13, 2012 Author Posted May 13, 2012 Are you sure that your mixture is set to auto? What are your MP and RPM settings? I had the mixture set for auto rich, instead of run, so at around angels 15 my bird would tell me to climb the rest of the way myself. My bad! :pilotfly: MJ [sIGPIC]http://i688.photobucket.com/albums/vv250/mjmorrow76/SPAD%20of%20a%20new%20generation_zpshcbftpce.png[/sIGPIC]
