neroroxxx Posted May 19, 2012 Posted May 19, 2012 I own a Saitek x52pro, it doesn't have enough buttons for the a-10C as it is, BUT using the pinky and clutch buttons I am able to do it easily, the problem is that I gotta create a profile for each plane from each game, if I'm in flaming cliffs I gotta close FC2 to switch to a-10c when I close one I change the profile for my joystick to the a-10c, with DCS world I would have to close the program every time I want to change the profile which is not a huge deal but if I forget to do it and switch planes then I gotta stop the game and close the program, pain in the behind. If DCS had an option to say press any 2 keys at the same time to access a control that would be huge because I would be able to bypass the x-52pros profile software which always freaks out on me, I've tried doing this before but couldn't if this is already possible and you can guide in e right direction I'd appreciate it. Mugenjin Posted May 19, 2012 Posted May 19, 2012 You can define "modifiers" iirc in the bottom left of the control option screen. E.g. set your pinky as a modifier. You can also just alt+tab to change the profile. If you do it from ingame, i.e. not any of the menus, though there's a bug with HDR which will be fixed with the next patch.
neroroxxx Posted May 24, 2012 Author Posted May 24, 2012 Thank you both!!!!!! This is so much better!! Set pinky and clutch as modifier! Nero 27" iMac, 3.4GHz i7 Quad Core, 16GB Ram, AMD Radeon HD 6970M 2Gb, Running Bootcamp, Windows 7 Home 64bit, Saitek X-52 Pro
