sumerion Posted June 3, 2012 Posted June 3, 2012 (edited) Hi there everyone I use the logitech g940... wich is an ok system, it would have been more than ok without the axis spikes. First I just mapped one of the throttle wheelaxis to the zoom function. That was a bad idea, atleast for me. Spikes and zoom are no good combination. I just wanted to show how I use the zoom in the simulator. I use the zoom in 2 steps, the first I like to see as a focus step, and the other as my binoculars. This way I don´t have to bother for any spikes. I have mapped this to one of the little wheels on my g940 throttle. Ali Fish Posted June 3, 2012 Posted June 3, 2012 nice idea sir ! will try that laters. im stuck with using TrackIR Z axis as zoom, hopefully the warthog switches wont carry so much spike. [sIGPIC][/sIGPIC]
sumerion Posted June 3, 2012 Author Posted June 3, 2012 I like it this way. it´s easy, and when I roll the axis all the way back, it´s always at my perferable zoom level, I don´t have to fine tune.. (zoom in a bit.. ohh to much.. zoom out.......) ASUS P7P55D - i5@3.8 - 8GB RAM - ATI6950 2GB - Logitech G940 - TIR 5
