thought i had horrible speaker feedback with A-10C, but.., and thought my computer sound got really meesed up,a nd had a horrible sqeal when I was trying to play a mission with friends and A10-C. We had a couple bases and also some J-TAC controllers out in the mission...

I could not fly becuase of the horrific sqealing out of my speakers.. long story short, it turned out when I was tuning in radio #2 to the J-TAC frequency, it triggered some radio feedback between the two radios in my A-10C, Radio #1 was set to the base control tower, and Radio #2, was J-TAC...

very weird, never had that problem,,, anyways, all I had to do was to not go through a few frequencies while tuning to the frequencies we were using, but I wasted an hour finding all this out.. I never had this feedback happen in the A-10C radios ever before...

the horrific ear splitting feedback was like when you bring a microphone too close to speakers...

You didn't try to set the FM frequency too high or the AM frequency too low did you? That can cause that problem.

Always remember. I don't have a clue what I'm doing

The first radio was set to 123 MHZ AM ( Airbase), Radio #2 was set to: 131 MHZ FM (J-TAC).

Later, I was tuning the 2nd radio and as I passed the dial from say 3 to about 8 on the dial, on the way to 13 (second dial to #1) the sqeal went crazy...

I never ever had this happen before from the A-10C radios... not sure why my post was moved, it after all was all A-10C equipemnt, not my computer hardware that freaked out... my computer was perfectly fine... as I tried shutting off speakers and the sqeal persisited though any set of speakers, or just my headset..
