Isys Posted June 30, 2012 Posted June 30, 2012 Sorry if this has been covered elsewhere but I can't find the answer anywhere - I recently bought A-10c and a Saitek X52 Pro. I have downloaded Outlaw's profile from the Eagle wiki and added it to the profiles folder. The profile is set to load at startup and according to the MFD on the HOTAS it has. In A-10c I have left the control options as default. When I try to control the aircraft the control column and throttle work as expected but none of the other buttons (china hat,POVs etc) or swithes do. :helpsmilie:
cichlidfan Posted June 30, 2012 Posted June 30, 2012 Did you clear all existing X-52 button assignments in Options>Controls prior to trying to use the profile? EDIT: I just saw that you left them alone (need to read better). That is the source of your problems, at least most of it. 1 ASUS ROG Maximus VIII Hero, i7-6700K, Noctua NH-D14 Cooler, Crucial 32GB DDR4 2133, Samsung 950 Pro NVMe 256GB, Samsung EVO 250GB & 500GB SSD, 2TB Caviar Black, Zotac GTX 1080 AMP! Isys Posted July 1, 2012 Author Posted July 1, 2012 Thanks for your reply cichlidfan. I will try this later today. I assume you mean clear the assignments in the X-52 column in Options>Controls. I will let you know how I get on.
Isys Posted July 3, 2012 Author Posted July 3, 2012 Sorted! I applied your suggestion cichlidfan and it still wasn't responding exactly as I expected. I then opened up notepad to see what the x52 was outputing when I pressed the buttons - Nothing! After a complete uninstall and registry clear down I started again and all of a sudden it works. Many thanks for your help - I would still have come up against problems without your advice.
