While I'm downloading DCS World, I have a quick question: I have the Steam version of A-10C, will World automatically detect it, or will I have to do something special to get the Steam version to work with World?

Assuming you have used your Steam copy opf A-10C at least once on this computer, you're all set. Steam version uses the same DRM as this one (due to Steam being unable to supply a 64-bit compatible DRM at the time of launch), so as long as you've used your A-10C once and activated it as prompted there, you're already activated for DCS World beta. :)

If you have not already used the Steam-acquired copy, you will be prompted to activate. To get your key, right-click the A-10C entry in Steam and find the license key there, then input this key in the activation prompt. This will make A-10C active on your computer - inclusive of both World module beta version and your Steam copy.

EDIT: Sniped.
