Ok 5k, feet i roll inverted and do an outside loop, at just past ap, both engines flamed out and spool down, i leveled out and was able to get one engine restarted 200 feet off the deck....just before i went into the trees. Grin.

So the hog fuel pumps starve at negative g's? Only reason i can see for them both shutting down.

There is no worse feeling in the world other than during an argument, you realize you are wrong. What do you do?

Correct, you have an auxiliary fuel tank assembly to supply the engines during negative-G flight, good for roughly 10 seconds of operation.

When you get DCS:World you can always use the SU-25T for that instead.

Edit: Okay, I just tried that. It did not end well. It's the same as the hog. Stupid me.

This is one of my favorite things to do if I'm in single player just random free flight mode if I get bored. Fly inverted for a bit to cause this and try for midair restarts/recoveries. One of the quickest ways to simulate/intiate a pretty good "failure" do deal with.

I also do it devilish like when I have friends come over, I show them the sim, and they want to 'top gun' it inverted based on their awesome console gaming skills. I say "sure, go ahead, I bet you'll crash in 30 seconds due to the way the plane really works and you won't know how to recover it"

They then reply: "NAH, watch this!!!

I just start giggling and counting out-loud while sipping on my beer waiting for the fireball.

My understanding is that there are actual 'fuel cell bladders' for x amount of pounds of fuel for inverted flight, and not just a issue with the xfer pumps, on the real A10 and modeled here as well right? Is that correct? I swear I read that somewhere here on a post long ago....would love to read more on it/engineering of it.

To whom it may concern,

I am an idiot, unfortunately for the world, I have a internet connection and a fondness for beer....apologies for that.

Thank you for you patience.
