Tallyho1961 Posted October 22, 2005 Posted October 22, 2005 Sometimes - it seems when flying over very uneven terrain - the F-15 altitude tape (HUD right side) get totally jerky (slideshow like) and even out of synch with the altimeter. Is this modelling RL behaviour over mountainous terrain or, am I looking at something else? ___________________________________________________________________ HEC 435W PSU | ASRock 939Dual SATA2 | AMD64 3700+ | 2G PC3200 DDR RAM ASUS X1950PRO 256MB | Audigy 2 | Saitek X45 | CH Pro Pedals | Track IR3 Pro

Is this modelling RL behaviour over mountainous terrain or, am I looking at something else? It may be that the terrain elevation changes abruptly - not sure though. I am familiar with the effect you're deescribing, but it never bothered me. Tallyho1961 Posted October 22, 2005 Author Posted October 22, 2005 I'm always relieved to find out it's not my system/installation. I've done a fair bit of adding-on, tweaking, etc., lately and feared I might have upset something. ___________________________________________________________________ HEC 435W PSU | ASRock 939Dual SATA2 | AMD64 3700+ | 2G PC3200 DDR RAM ASUS X1950PRO 256MB | Audigy 2 | Saitek X45 | CH Pro Pedals | Track IR3 Pro
Han Posted October 22, 2005 Posted October 22, 2005 It is a bug, The F-15C have no radio altimeter in real life. May be will be fixed in 1.2 With Best Regards! Daniel Tuseyev Il-2: Battle of Stalingrad and Rise Of Flight projects manager
