112th_Rossi Posted July 10, 2012 Posted July 10, 2012 I was at RIAT 2012 at the weekend and I realised something. The sound in DCS: Anything isn't all that great. Are there plans to change the sound engine in anyway. The way jets sound in the air as they move around is full of different pitches and tones that don't seem to get modelled in the sim as yet. I also noticed the whine from jet engines as they pass by on the run way as they land while the engine is spooling down and other cool sounds. It would add a lot to the immersion if this kind of thing was added.
