Patches!! Does this happen to anyone else?

Hey brother pilots,

 

I am doing the patches today and going over the change logs.

 

Now, when I usually get a patch from a game, I look at the change log and see the things that annoyed me or that I wished fixed and I am usually pleased. With most of my games, I usually get through the change log and say, "They forgot or didn't get to this or that." No big deal. I couldn't do it so I am still pleased.

 

Then there is ED! Every single time they patch, I go through the change logs and see everything that I would have expected to see..... then a full list of fixes that I never knew needed fixed! ED's attention to the tiniest detail really boggles my mind! They always fix several things that I had never even thought of, every small detail is scrutinized and microscoped and other nasty things, until ED patches seem to work on every facet of the game.

 

I can only imagine the attention to detail that it takes to make a patch for every aircraft, DCS World, and at the same time bring out Combined Arms!

 

Oh, and by the way, they are also still working on everything else that we want. In my humble opinion, this is what will make DCS stand out over the long run, even beyond the greats like Falcon4. I am very grateful to the company, as well as all the testers who put in the hard work, just in case I noticed that the ball took .3 seconds to center after three consecutive immelmans if my wingman was damaged!

 

Once again, thank you guys. I will always support your incredibly hard work.
