F10 map differences between CA and other modules

Hi guys,

 

There are differences in the F10 map depending on what vehicle you are joining.

 

The F10 option is set to [ALL] in the editor.

 

In the mission there are red and blue ground units and red and blue Ka-50.

 

If you join the blue Ka-50 you can see the blue vehicles, the red vehicles and the red Ka-50.

 

If you join the red Ka-50 you can see the red vehicles, the blue vehicles and the blue Ka-50.

 

If you join the blue CA-GFC you can see only the blue vehicles and the blue Ka-50.

You can not see the red vehicles or the red Ka-50!

 

If you join the red CA-GFC you can see only the red vehicles and the red Ka-50.

You can not see the blue vehicles or the blue Ka-50!

 

 

Isn't it a bit unfair? :huh:

Still being tweaked - but in general it will go like this in the future --

 

In short, the new view options for the F-10 map are....

- "All" Would be all Unhidden units in the miz are shown - FoW active on Hidden units from the ME (FoW forced by Mission)

- "Fog of War" is a Blanket over all enemy units. (FoW forced by Main options)

 

Now this is not final and will change - also to directly answer your question all units now see the F-10 map the same in my internal version.

This is being discussed at the moment. Personally I agree it should be reimplemented.
