Can I keep Flaming Cliffs 2 installed_DCS WORLD INFO

Hi everyone,

I am ready to buy Combined Arms however, the installation instructions state:

DCS Product Installation

 

1- Uninstall all previous DCS products prior to versions 1.2.0

2- To be safe, delete \Saved Games\DCS files

3- Install DCS World 1.2.0

4- Install each new DCS module (1.2.0 or latest Beta version)

 

Asus P6T, i7 975 @ 3.33, 6 GB DDR3, GTX295 (both GPU enabled), Win7 64, and HOTAS Warthog / CH Pro Throttle.

ALL, being the operative word here and, since I want to keep Flaming Cliffs 2 until 3 comes out, I take it to mean the uninstallation only includes products which are currently compatible with DCS World?

Meaning that I uninstall everything except Flaming Cliffs 2 or uninstall everything and later reinstall Flaming Cliffs 2

and play Flaming Cliffs 2 outside of DCS World?

 

One other thing that is important to me is BLack Shark 2 ( UPGRADE ) now

compatible with DCS World?

Thanks for any advice about these two (2) questions.

 

If I am correct about this I am ready to go thru' the uninstall\install proceedure.

Something to note regarding the first item; technically Flaming Cliffs is not a DCS product. Therefore, the '...ALL...' statement from Wags is accurate.;)

 

On the second item, the answer is yes (you still need BS1 installed and activated).
