Skywall23 Posted October 25, 2005 Share Posted October 25, 2005 Hi guys, Im having an issue with the 1.11 patch. During install I get error code 3. It stops installing when it reaches the protect.exe. I checked the 1.10 version (no patches applied) and I dont see any protect.exe file, so im assuming this is a new file. The protect.dll is the only thing that is any near the protect word. I bought FC by download, and I have downloaded the Wed patch so this isnt an issue. Also I uninstalled and reinstalled everything but with no results. Perhaps I need to redownload the patch? I remember that there were people having this error during the FC installation. Or maybe its a program that is blocking the patch installation. I hope you can help me guys coz I just got a cool XFX Gamepad and its great for this sim, although it doesnt have the quality of a X-45.:p Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...
