Downloading modules

Hi,

 

I have bought dcs a10c a while ago from direct2drive.

 

Now I realise when I download the modules I don't have to enter my key anywhere, I just download the torrent for dcs world and start the game, I don't get how this is possible? Am I doing something wrong here? How does it know I bought a10 a while ago? How does it check that?

You will be asked to enter you licence key the first time you run the sim (not the UI). If you have previously activated an install and haven't reinstalled windows/bought a new computer the activation will still be in the registry and therefore you won't need to enter your key again.
