Axion Posted August 12, 2012 Posted August 12, 2012 Hopefully someone will be kind enough to help me out with a sound card(s) question? My current audio setup is as follows – Asus Xonar D2X PCI-E soundcard Logitech G930 5.1 USB soundcard / headset Logitech Z5400 5.1 speaker system Earthquake AMP with tactile transducer (XJ-300R + MQB-1) similar to a buttkicker. This takes a feed from the centre/sub jack output on the Asus soundcard. Trying to achieve simultaneous output (if at all possible and for the sanity of my family) by using the G930 headset (USB soundcard) and the Asus soundcard to allow normal game sounds to be heard via the headset with the addition of the Asus centre/sub driving the buttkicker device. From what I can gather Windows only allows one device to be active at any one time? Thanks in advance. PoleCat Posted August 12, 2012 Posted August 12, 2012 (edited) AFAIK this is not supported in Windows 7. There is a possible workaround posted but I am not sure if it applies...Look at the post labeled most helpful reply...... http://answers.microsoft.com/en-us/windows/forum/windows_7-sound/output-to-2-sound-cards-simultaneously/4e57dd01-a68c-4ffe-af3e-66d7f895584b If this is not to your liking then this sounds like a job for......
