Stratos Posted August 12, 2012 Posted August 12, 2012 Mading some army camps lately, but I'm having lots of problems posititoning the tents and vehicles as I can't see how they are positioned regarding the real world, for example parked planes properly positioned in e parking places. In the old games you can see the textures so you have a reference but not in BS. Any idea? I don't understand anything in russian except Davai Davai!
Leto Posted August 12, 2012 Posted August 12, 2012 (edited) I'm missing a kind of an easy switch from mission editor (ME) to the 3D environment, too, like for example IL2 used to have. Or at least, as you mentioned, the sattelite view of the map could help a lot. I read about a solution in this post by Panzertard: klick where you could use two instances of DCS at the same time to place units precisely but I don't know if it's still working. None the less, you will always have to change you graphic settings if you want to work in the ME and that's not really preferable. So I second your feelings about the ME and ask ED to answer the plea for a more user friendly way to place units / check Edited August 12, 2012 by Leto [sIGPIC][/sIGPIC] Ariescon.com Intel i7-6700K | 32GB RAM | NVIDIA GTX 1080 | 1TB m.2 SSD | TM Warthog | Logitech G-35 | TrackIR 5 | Windows 10 Ultimate 64bit | 3 monitor setup @5760x1080 | Occulus Rift
