Toastie Posted August 26, 2012 Posted August 26, 2012 I had a dig around to find a similar report, but alas nothing. I've noticed in a couple of A10C Quick Missions now that the airfield I take off from is Neutral and, as a result, if I return to that airfield to rearm/refuel, I get no response from the ground crew in the comms menu. In the most recent attempt I took off from Krasnodar Centre and noticed that all of the airfields in the ATC comms menu were neutral. I guess I would have been ignored wherever I landed. Has any one else noticed this? Разведчик
psylent Posted September 1, 2012 Posted September 1, 2012 Hi Raz, Not sure of this is the prob or not, but I know there has to be at least one ground unit in place at the airfield for refueling and rearming to work. Found that put while creating my own mission and i couldnt rearm after landing. I'd have to check to see if ground units are in position when a quick start mission is selected. Toastie Posted September 1, 2012 Author Posted September 1, 2012 As far as I could see there were fuel and other trucks parked on the apron. I have simple comms turned on and I opened the cockpit before attempting to call the ground crew, as I believe is required. The key issue here is that if the game generates a quick mission, it should place all of the necessary equipment at the base of origin and align that base with the side of the player. Clearly the latter isn't the case here.
