User curve for zoom

I am trying to set a user response curve for the zoom axis

The reason is that many missions created by 3rd parties don't use the user view config file. This is an attempt to get the default to work with my setup.

I have rudder toe axis set to zoom but I need it to only zoom out to 50%

These are two I have tried but they don't work

anyone else tried this?

One of those almost works but I can't take the 100% spike off at the low range.

The custom setting generates these bizarre curves that don't make any sense. "slider" seems to normalize it.
