that is pretty good resolution, I would recommend an 8 inch display though then you can add a MFD panel to it.

I don’t think a MFD would work that great in my pit, the 7” fits better. The reason I was asking about the Shkval resolution is because I had a 640x480 and I could barely make out tanks on the Shkval, so I was wanting to know if anyone has seen the Shkval in 800x600 res.

One thing you could do is export the image to two different places on your main monitor one at 640X480 and one at 800X600 this will give you an idea of how much more detail the 800X600 would give you and see if it is worth the cost.

Charles has a great suggestion, Showtime.

The small monitors can be kind of costly. If you use a larger monitor along with the monitor you have for your right side gauges (total of three instead of four, like you are planning), you could export your shkval and WCS seven segment display numbers, then still have Helios run your gauges there.. All this for the same cost. Take a good look at your setup and consider it.

Those are my plans once I find the two monitors I need. I see them here and there, but never for sale yet.

BTW, make sure you are not using 256 cockpit graphics when testing your shkval. 512 is best as it allows you to read fonts on the map.
