I purchased DCS BlackShark, BS2 and A10. I saw that DCS World was available. I downloaded it along with the BlackShark module and A10 module. Installed DCS World. Installed BlackShark and A10 modules. Ran it. It's ok except when I go to fly either BS or A10, it says this produce requires activation. Enter your serial number and press next. When I do that it says Activation denied by server. Invalid hardware code. Make sure the Serial Number used is valid for the product you are trying to activate, generate a new Hardware code and try again.

I am stuck....help!

Hi.

 

Please attempt running this file: http://www.digitalcombatsimulator.com/delete_all_activation_data.reg

 

(If using IE, it might be renamed to mp3 automatically by the browser, in this case rename it back to .reg )

 

This should fix the issue.

Hi EtherealN

That did the trick with A10! However, I think I need to remove BlackShark2 and install BlackShark2 upgrade, as I installed BlackShark2 module, but I believe I originally bought blackshark from the store, then purchased the upgrade here. Let me try that and see how it goes. I am halfway there......I will post back with the results. Thanks for the help

That worked! I am now flying both in DCS World. Thank you very much for the help, I appreciate it.

Looking forward to buying LOCKON FC3!!! -)

Thank you for your replay. I currently have three tickets open (16571, 16578 & 16732) because my DCS A-10C Serial number is not being grouped with all of my other products and I can not get onto the Multiplayer Server. I get the "Invalid Serial Number".

 

I think that if you look at the open tickets it is because my DCS A-10C serial number is not linked to my account along with all of my other products.

 

I you could assist, I would greatly appreciate it!!

I have already attempted this procedure a number of times without any success. At one time ED did a change and combined their servers if I remember correctly. When that happened, I could not see the A-10C product under the "Payment" area, also not when I was doing a new download from the download section where when you are logged in, the serial number is suppose to show at that location, which it doesn't. And now I have the additional issues of not being able to logon to the Multipllayer server (Invalid Serial Number) and I can not de-activate the A-10C product.

 

So when you return, If you could please check out the open tickets, I would appreciate it. All Serial numbers, Hardware Code, etc., are listed in the open tickets listed in the previous post.
