gprr Posted September 28, 2012 Posted September 28, 2012 (edited) Hello Gents Running DCS P51D but GPU-Z shows the V.Card remains as in 2D mode and doesn't kick in when playing, fan speed may rise to 30% but thats all. Other apps like IL-2 or Heaven benchmark show normal activity loading. 1st install didn't include DX part but did 2nd full one on top. Action taken for no avail: -Diffrent drivers -Dissabled Catalyst AI -Asigned profile in CCC. My main System parts: I7 920@3.92, ASUS P6TD MB, HD5870 2GB with CAT 10.12, 1920x1200, Tripple Channel 6GB RAM, Corsair TX 750W.WIN7 64bit Ultimate. Kuky Posted September 28, 2012 Posted September 28, 2012 GPU-Z is not reporting correct data, have you tried to check if there is leter version of GPU-Z? Fact that if you are in DSC sim your card must be running in 3D mode so don't worry about that being reported wrong by GPU-Z. Since This specific program had "negative atitude" towards DCS in the # of tests done, didn't suspect it as flaky (it is latest version) but your comment made me look for another utility and found this: http://www.softpedia.com/get/Windows-Widgets/System-Utilities/GPU-Monitor.shtml. Used AMD CCC + the new GPU Monitor and all is well. Cheers GP My rig: WIN 10 64bit I7 6700k Gigabyte GTX 1080 TI 16GB RAM 650W PS MS FFB2
