dooom Posted October 5, 2012 Posted October 5, 2012 So i used to have a fix applied to anchor the HMS in the middle of my view when zoomed in. It was always an annoyance that when I zoomed in the HMS would creep up and out of sight. The old fix used to be here: http://forums.eagle.ru/showpost.php?p=584093&postcount=6 With the new DCS World, however, I cannot find this path. Anyone apply a similar hack with the new 1.21? ajax Posted October 5, 2012 Posted October 5, 2012 Look in C:\Program Files\Eagle Dynamics\DCS World\Mods\aircrafts\Ka-50\Cockpit\Scripts\config.lua line 5 v_angle_shift = math.rad(11) -- displacement for padlock and helmet 1
LupinYonder Posted October 11, 2012 Posted October 11, 2012 (edited) Could you elaborate ajax ? I'd love to get this fixed. A higher or lower number will move the HMS down ? Is there a value that has the HMS centred or is it different for each monitor setup ? Sorted, no need for help now. Edited October 11, 2012 by LupinYonder
fangav Posted October 11, 2012 Posted October 11, 2012 change the value from 11 to 0 in the brackets keeps it centered for me. [sIGPIC][/sIGPIC]
ajax Posted October 12, 2012 Posted October 12, 2012 Right, 0 works. Bear in mind that I've heard that doing this will break track playback. So you have to decide what's more important to you.
