tonym Posted October 16, 2012 Posted October 16, 2012 I find that the default cockpit view puts one far too near the panel. This can be zoomed out OK, but as soon as I switch to trackIR it defaults back to the original view and without 6 degrees of freedom can,t be zoomed out. Is there a solution to the problem?
Milene Posted October 16, 2012 Posted October 16, 2012 Nope. This is one of the handicaps of using such an old cockpit model. Flanker, Flanker 2.0, Flanker 2.5, Lockon, FC1, FC2,FC3, BS1, BS2, A10C, CA and World [sIGPIC][/sIGPIC]
SmokeyTheLung Posted October 16, 2012 Posted October 16, 2012 You probably have the "zoom view" command mapped to the Z axis of your trackir. Go to options/controls/su-25t/axis assign and unbind it (depending on the amount of controllers you use you might have to scroll to the right to see the trackir assignments) ...you can confirm this quickly by leaning towards your monitor (with trackir enabled of course) and recent we your view. After you lean back you notice that your view zooms out System specifications: Computer, joystick, DCS world, Beer
