Hello,

Whenever i play a mission, the helicopter always yaws to the left. don t know if its the wind or if it even effects this. im using a cyborg FLY5 and nothings wrong with it or the game control configuration.any help or advice would be appreciated, or any solutions, such as if it is wind, how can i set a course to waypoints so i dont have to constently recenter the helicopter.

Thanks

Easiest way is to go into the mission editor, on the LH side find the helicopter icon and place one on the map.

Then on the RH side look for skill and set to player or client

and a bit lower you can set the kind of waypoint, set that to start from runway.

Hit the blue check mark on the LH side, no need to safe the mission before flying.

You should be in the helicopter on a runway ready for take-off in a mission whitout any wind. (because we didn't set any)

try and take-off and see if the problem is gone.

If it is, the "problem" is wind effects. If it isn't then somehow the sim is seeing a rudder input. Maybe the Yaw axis is assigned to a slider or rotary you don't know of?

Please also note that small deviations in heading can occur when lifting off, that's, simply said, because its a helicopter. Shouldn't be to significant though, hope this helps in narrowing down the problem.
