I set a tanker to immortal so noobs cant crash into it/shoot it down and ruin the mission for everyone else. But unfortunately this does not work that well... Look at the track. It's about 1 min long. When I shoot the tanker (I am the host of the session) nothing happens, but when my client buddy shoots at it, it takes damage. Let them shoot the tanker. Please report back. Cuz this is really what happens to me all the time. Immortal units are not really immortal. On a couple of units that are part of the mission 'fluff' - the 'other' stuff going on building the mission scenario. Inbound helicopters for example. I have noticed that Invisible doesn't always work, and completely random when it does work despite being set as such, so i make them immortal AND invisible, just in case. As far as i`m aware, Invisible and Immortal in the ME are for AI units only. Having just tested the immortal settings in the GUI for the player, i can confrim that for me anyway, they do work. Set it in the GUI options for the mission. If it doesn't work then, then fair enough, but don't mix the two separate 'immortal' settings on this thread. You are confusing yourself!
