Can I already uninstall the non-DCS-World BS2 and A-10C?

Ey folks,

Congrats ED team for the recent release of FC3. Enjoyed it through the weekend ...

Right before FC3 I was running DCS world 1.1, I think so I went through the dance of unistalling and reinstalling the whole package.

I have now DCS world up to date and its up to date modules A-10C, Combined Arms, Black Shark 2 Update and FC3 beta.

I was wondering if I can uninstall the original A-10C, FC2, BS2 and BS1? Will future updates require having these installed?

Thanks in advance,

JC

You can safely uninstall everything!

Keep in mind, however; if you need to reinstall FC3 for some reason, you will need to have some previous iteration of Lock On installed to activate it (due to Ubisoft owning the rights to the franchise as I understand it).

As for BS1 & 2 and A-10C they are completely integrated with DCS World, and there is no longer any reason to have the standalone clients unless you want to keep them around for legacy reasons (?).

We were given the glorious gift of the auto updater which remedied having to uninstall/install to update.
