SgtHughbie Posted November 12, 2012 Posted November 12, 2012 Hi there guys! Just quickly, my files are all corrupt, probably my fault, anyway..... 1) I am going to totally wipe off all DCS files, Sims, World, everything!!!!! 2)Going to install as if I had never installed the sim before!! 3)Now, I think what I had done was I wasn't erasing the older version of DCS World (Believing the updates were just a modification of the original download and patches of flight sims!) 4)Anyway, how do you start out?? (I have ALL THE DCS FILES......I mean ALL OF THEM dating back to the original Lock-on) 5)And in the future, any updates I should erase all previous file of the flight sim or DCS World or whatever.....?) Does that not mean then you're having to erase everything and reload everything from scratch!? Thanks guys!! If there is a step by step procedure downloading ALL THE FILES I couldn't find it so I'd appreciate a "hand-up!" Thanks again Hughbie:doh:
Kuky Posted November 12, 2012 Posted November 12, 2012 Download and install all files for latest DCS World (there are 4 files total) and install DCS World. Auto updater (which runs automatically once per day every day, which you can also start manually from start menu) will update DCS World once any updated are available (you don't have to uninstall/reinstall anything) Once DCS World is installed install your individual DCS modules.
