Trim the A-10

hi guys

Since 1.2.2 im unable to trim the A-10...

When i trim for nose down it also banks to left as if iv also trimmed left wing down, and visa verse when trim nose up it goes to the right..

But when i trim for for left or right wing down, nothing happens at all..

Have tried diff key combinations but the same thing happens.. is this a bug???

Any help/advice appreciated.

What HOTAS are you using? Did you check the controls page options to see if they are still set for what you want? I'm running with the A-10C HOTAS and the update did NOT affect my settings. My trim works fine.

im using a G940, but my trims are set to keyboard..

Are you using a forcefeedback joystick. There is a bug in this 1.2.2 version. I have remapped my trim inputs so its working pretty ok until a fix is made. I use g940 joystick.

You'll notice that the aircraft rolls left if you switch on GUN/PAC too.

 

G940 (or anyone with FFB) users are suffering.

I'd like to get an update on the current state of the trim issue for the Logitech G940. I've mapped trim to my keyboard up/down/left/right arrow keys. When I use these keys to trim, I can see the POV hat on the stick in the cockit move but no timming takes place. I've read it's a FFB bug, but moving the FFB sliders to zero in the G940 Profiler or exiting the Profiler program (in the menu box on lower-right of Win 7 64-bit) doesn't help.

 

I've also tried mapping trim to the 8-position button on the joystick and trimming from there with no effect. (Trim won't map to the POV hat switch normally used to slew around the cockpit (I use TrackIR Pro)--is that normal?) Thanks. WMM
