Major SNAFU Posted November 14, 2012 Posted November 14, 2012 Hi all, I have the original release installed (after I uninstalled the beta). I never patched it because shortly after release the job got crazy busy. What is the correct method of patching all the way up to the current version. Do I have to download and install each interim patch? How do you confirm what version you currently have patched? I didn't see a version number on the splash screen, or on the options and other pages. I downloaded today the 1.2.2 (something) file but I didn't install it yet because I wanted to see what the correct sequence is first. Regards,
Para_Bellum Posted November 14, 2012 Posted November 14, 2012 Download and install DCS:World 1.2.2 Download and install DCS:A-10C 1.2.2 Once you launch a mission for the 1st time you'll be prompted for the serial key for A-10, enter the key you got when you initially bought the sim (beta, full version or DCS: World module). From now on the auto-updater should keep DCS:World and the modules up-to-date. The version number can be found in the lower right corner of the main screen, currently it's 1.2.2.7286.
WarthogSmurf Posted November 14, 2012 Posted November 14, 2012 Remove the old standalone A-10C and install World. their two separete installs anyway. When the 1.2.2 files are installed the game auto-update will work . You can when you like remove 1.1.1.1 Ahhh sniped =)
