cockpitview stuck FC2

ok so i tried facetracknoir, works fine, but i dont always use it. only prob is when im not using it now, (not lauched when i start Flaming Cliffs 2) my view is stuck forward. mouse and keypad have no effect. sometimes it will twice but no movement. only thing i can do is hit KP0 to glance down. the controls section in settings menu still show a trackir, when it didnt before facetrack. i tried deleteing all the headtracker and trackir folders in the input/aircrafts/blahblah folders. nothing seems to work. can anyone tell me how to fix without reinstalling, my install discs are packed away in some random box because im fixing to move, and i really dont want to dig it out

i gues you have to make new key bindings in the options menu

but you will loose the settings for when you do use TrackIR or Freetrack Or facetracknoir

 

Why dont you use it all the time? isnt it much better than using the mouse or keybindings ?

i dont use it all the time, because i dont have a dedicated space to play. i just play on my laptop, mostly in my chair in the living room. and later at night the wife is watching movies or whatnot. so with the lights down facetrack doesnt work well so its better to just use my mouse.

but if i stop the engine with facetrack running, but stopped or paused, still no mouse or KP controls. no options that i could find in the settings to disable or bind anything ingame menu.

Thats because the trackir is set in the keybindings and they will overrun any other key

I think its one or the other option
