My Black Shark 1.1.1.1 is not Updating World and not Installing

BS2 Upgrade version 1.2.2, when I go to install it using the downloaded .exe file (KA-50_bs1update_en_1.2.2.7122_23.exe) in my installation for World, I get an immediate pop-up message in Setup that states,

"DCS Black Shark 1 must be installed and activated"

My current DCS World version is 1.2.2.7122 . Second time around I did not install the 1.2.2.7204 Update as of last night. DCS World, the A-10C and P-51D modules loaded and run fine.

My online "invoice" Order History states I have the Black Shark Upgrade 1.2.2 currently listed. I purchased this for BS2 and updated it to version 1.1.1.1

I never installed the betas for DCS World Black Shark. This is my first time around installing to DCS World for Black Shark 2.

Is there an additional purchase necessary for the Upgrade version to DCS World?

~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
My BS1 is installed and runs in Single Player as well as Multiplayer; BS2 also runs in both. My BS1 version is updated to 1.0.2 ; BS2 to version 1.1.1.1 They both function fine.
I did modify my original BS1 installation with the 104th Phoenix's mod that also works well on the Stallturn server, I currently fly there in BS1 in FC2. I did not at the time know how to back it up. Maybe the World 1.2.2 update sees this modification of BS1 as a corrupted installation.
What is the process to install BS2 upgrade into DCS World and where do I find the how-to instructions?
If I purchase the BS2 for DCS World stand-alone installation, is this also going to be a ridiculous ordeal?
Hi Erich. I have just read your post. I do not know if this will help or not. My understanding was if you have DCS black shark 1 installed on your computer. All you needed to do is to purchase the upgrade version of black shark 2 module. And then just download the module black shark 2. And then install the same as you would with any other module. And the next time you run DCS world and black shark 2. You should be prompted for the product key you purchase for the black shark 2 module up grade. Or if you purchased black shark 1 and then purchased black shark 2 upgrade prior to the release of DCS world. All you have to do is to download black shark 2 module and install as per normal. I own flaming cliffs 2 and in the next week I will be going through the same process when I buy the flaming cliffs 3 module. So until then I hope this might help in some small way but I will keep you updated on how i go when I install the upgrade for flaming cliffs 3 if you can. Let me know how you got on. Because I might need the same help when installing flaming cliffs3. Good luck mate Handy.
This is the best how-to I have read as to the BS2 Upgrade for DCS World, but there has to be an easier way.
What I am going to attempt to do is make backup copies of my original DCS World, with the A-10C and P-51D added, version 1.2.2.7122 of a few days ago. This works.
My DCS World resides in my directory...C:\DCS WORLD\DCS World\
I will copy this then rename it and update it, copy the update and then experiment with the copy adding BS2.
My post doing the same idea, making multiple copies in FC2:
Dont you only need your BS serial for the BS module in DCS World?
I own the serial for the stand-alone A-10C, but i dont have to install that to be able to use the module in DCS World. Im not sure if this is also the case for BS 2.
When you enter multiplayer through the single player DCS World client it asks for that serial and im ready for play. When your DCS World BS module asks for the standalone to be installed first and activated then do so. No other difficult copy n pasting, backups or extra strong coffee is needed.
