JABO2009 Posted November 15, 2012 Posted November 15, 2012 had teamspeak running recently and the in game sound got silenced. deactivated this in TS settings ... volume control for other applications unticked. but still no sound. even tried changing in game to desktop and in the windows speaker menu, I went into "Mixer" menu and put the sound for systemsounds back to 100% changed back in to game, still no sound. restarted DCSW, still no sound. GUI sound is working, only in game still NO. what the hell? pls help. Intel I7 - 10700 K @ 3,80GHz / 64 GB DDR3 / RTX 3090 / Win 10 Home 64 bit / Logitech X56 HOTAS / HP Reverb G2 Running DCS on latest OB version

Grimes Posted November 16, 2012 Posted November 16, 2012 I have this issue with a bunch of different games/apps + teamspeak. The thing is its not consistent for me. Sometimes launching a game or youtube the audio will work, other times the audio doesn't. I've yet to figure out precisely what the issue is. My sound card is a 1st gen Creative Xfi XtremeMusic, so maybe that has something to do with it. The right man in the wrong place makes all the difference in the world. Im not on my PC for the next hours but that would be one of my attempts to solve it... I'll give it a try later on. JABO2009 Posted November 16, 2012 Author Posted November 16, 2012 (edited) in game sound STILL GONE ! cant believe this... launched DCS Repair nothing... switched all system and application sound to max in windows audio "mixer" control panel... stil nothing, no ingame sound, once I quit to GUI, the sound is back again... Im already thinkin of TS uninstall.. can I turn the sound on in the Config file somehow? EDIT: Problem is now solved. if anyone has this too: just STAY in game and ALT TAB to desktop DURING the game running and go to sounds-> mixer -> applications and then turn the one with the DCS logo louder. fixed.
