Slow Loading Black Shark

Hi,

 

There were a few posts about this 2 weeks ago. No-one else seems to be reporting this problem now, so I've started another thread.

I am having extremely slow loading of BS2 in DCS:W and often freezes or hanging.

 

In an attempt to fix this I've tried:-

Updating the "original" version of 1.2.2

Uninstalling DCS: W and reinstalling this with modules (A10, P51, CA) in different order.

Downloading the current version - 1.2.2.7286 and all current modules

Installing these in different orders

Uninstalling and re-installing Direct X and redistributable x64

and still.....

 

All other modules will run with load times of about 1 min.

 

Whenever I install and run Ka50 (I have the BS1 upgrade) module, I get a loading time of about 5 mins and either a freeze or a hang as the Fly screen appears.

Plus, all other modules will launch more slowly, as well.

 

Exasperating!

 

Has anyone got any advice, please? :helpsmilie:

5min is extremely slow... maybe it's not BS problem...

try running it as admin first (right click...)

and...

no, i havn't any other idea. sorry.

 

Wish you best luck. My loading time was resolved with 1.2.2. i don't know why.

It takes me now 10 mins to load BS after the lastest update. During most of the loading time, the disk is not even active...

I have had this happen too, also noticed a big hang on the initial load for multi and single.

Do you have the BS2 module or the BS2 upgrade from BS1? Do other modules load slowly too?
